As I introduce the "Bring Your A.S.H.A.*" Workshop to the world, I'm thrilled to share the story behind its name - a journey that's as personal as it is professional.
 
"Asha" has been my nickname for as long as I can remember. The story begins in my childhood when the "X" in my name Alexia proved to be a little tricky for me to pronounce. My attempts at saying my own name sounded more like "Asha," and it wasn't long before my grandmother lovingly adopted this version. Since then, "Asha" became a name that resonated with my identity.
 
The nickname took on a new life when I embarked on a decade-long voyage as a Burlesque Artist. From the stages of Lausanne to the vibrant city of New York, I had the privilege of performing under the spotlight, known to the audience as Asha. Those years were filled with creativity, expression, and unforgettable experiences that shaped me in countless ways.
 
Three years ago, my journey led me to the art of public speaking through Toastmasters (thank you Lausanne International Toastmasters Club!), marking a pivotal shift from the Artistic stage to a different kind of platform. It was here that I discovered a new passion for empowering others by sharing key tools for developing Authenticity, Self-awareness, and Creativity.
 
The name "Bring Your Asha!" is a tribute to this personal and professional evolution. It represents not just my journey, but the essence of what I aim to share through my workshops - the importance of bringing your true self to everything you do.
